Anorak XS Rain Jacket February 4, 2010 P. Martinez (USA) This jacket is not meant to keep you warm in freezing temperature. It is good for running a few miles or wearing it over a sweater on a rainy day. I got an Extra Small Maroon and it's 35 inches around the chest area and 32 on the waist area.It can be rolled up to a ball and doesn't take a lot of space if you take it on a trip. It is durable and VERY light weight. It is water resistant and the hood covers your head, if you zip it all the way up it covers your mouth and just leaves your eyes and your nose exposed. Recommended for those who are always out hiking in the morning or joggers in cold weather. If you wear this on a 40 degree weather you will feel the temperature for sure. The color is nice and design is simple. The fabric is thin, almost like an umbrella and durable.
The orange is WAY off from the picture! December 6, 2009 Jo Noble (Boulder CO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the orange and it shows SOOOO much differently on line. The orange I got was hunter orange. BRILLIANT orange, Bronco orange. Hardly the nice subtle color shown.
The Texas Orange came in as shown. A really nice subtle color.
Other than that, I love the jacket, and I KNOW about the colors as this last order put the total number I now have for gifts at 8.
Some of my family lives in Portland OR which is a perfect place for this jacket. And, some other family loves to cruise, which is also perfect for those windy days.
Yeah, I'm happy, just HATE that orange!
Nice jacket, perfect for SF November 14, 2009 DogsandBooks (San Francisco) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this jacket and have since purchased a second one in a different color. The fit is roomy and this is truly a windbreaker - I was quite comfy walking on a day with wind and rain (well the parts of me covered by the jacket were comfortable). I like how flexible the fit is - the bottom ripstop is easy to adjust and can change the jacket up or down a size (great if you tend to layer like I do). Great pockets including a full zippered kangaroo pocket.
PERFECT! November 11, 2009 S. Roberson (Ripley, MS) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
About two years ago I purchased a jacket just like this one at a college that I was going to. It was the same brand as Turfer so I figured that it would be the same jacket with size and all. I made the best choice ever and the jacket fits perfect! I have also been looking everywhere for one of these anorak jackets and I love em! Oh, and one more thing the color says stone and it looks like a silver/gray color in the pic but its actually tan and I like it even better.
anorak of awesome September 9, 2009 Andrew L. Russell (Tampa, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This anorak is perfect for me. it's nice and roomy, cut large, but it packs very small, and weighs nothing. i keep it in the back of my car in case it rains while i am out, and it packs down very small in my hiking/camping gear. excellent. great color choices, too.
